where are we at on the parts stock for the truck? Still going after 8th scale springs? Any resolution to the axles breaking? I know tekno is sending new axles to people that have them break. I am hoping for some good tower hobbies codes this next month.

I've talked to several users on here via pm about the sct410 (especially Cain) about the diff. between the two 4x4's and so far I am happy I made the decision to purchase the tekno over the losi scte 2.0, and hopefully I'll be just as happy when I build it and run it at the track.
Thanks for your advice...I do like my sc10 but I think its time to move on.

I race with Stealth and ummm yea... the Tekno seems pretty sick. I got to drive it after the mains and after driving my Losi.... WOW!!! its sick.

Stealth won the main by 2laps and I was second with my Losi.... it defaintely has me thinking time to switch platforms... LOL

I'm not quite sure what you mean, would it be possible for you take a picture of this? We've had no issues with any of the ackermann positions so hopefully it's a simple fix once we see what's going on.

Not so much actually. Mine is around 6.7 pounds body is without any shoegoo and normal paint with backer. I had a cut down body as well which reduced it further.

Ive just purchased the Tekno SCT410 from Tower today. Im excited to run it. I plan on running box stock. Any parts I should stock up on? Any build tips and mods? I read about 20 pages back then got bored .

Running on a large loose/dusty track suited for 8th scale usually, so the weight of the truck will help. RX8 and Pro 4600 until the HD Pro4 comes out.

Can't speak to your gearing being correct or a tooth high but you can limit current to 80 (hotwire) or less, that should pull temps down a bit. But the pro4 is fine up to 180 so your well within range (per tekin). Most like to keep it below 160, but you don't start destroying things till well over 180.

Most seem to see lower motor temps with the tekno, curious if your gearing is correct or not or maybe there's drag somewhere? Bearing? Somethings rubbing?

No dragging in drive line I geared down a tooth and only dropped temp by 10 degrees

Looks like your in the range for gearing at a medium track, where does your track size fit in here?

Small track (50-100 ft straight)
3600-4000 kv 13-15 tooth pinion
4400-4800 kv 12-14 tooth pinion
5000-5400 kv 11-13 tooth pinion

Medium track (100-150 ft straight)
3600-4000 kv 15-17 tooth pinion
4400-4800 kv 14-16 tooth pinion
5000-5400 kv 13-15 tooth pinion

Large track (150-200 ft straight)
3600-4000 kv 16-18 tooth pinion
4400-4800 kv 15-17 tooth pinion
5000-5400 kv 14-16 tooth pinion
