im actually trying to do the opposite on my car. i just got a set of rear barcodes and now the rear is locked. once i get my front tires sorted im hoping that i will gain a ton of steering. ATM i cant get the car to rotate very well.

Then you should go with a long wheelbase

my thought was use the rear position for the rear hubs and the rear or middle position for the front. in my head that allows more weight transfer and still keeps me with a slightly shorter wheelbase for the tight sections of the track.

Rear position (up front) is only used for trailing spindles.

If you're on the right tires, try stiffer springs out back, or softer up front.

What are your camber links set at?

im running RC's Jconcepts clash settup if im not mistaken and i think i went to no anti-squat, i removed the only shim that was under the rear arm mount. im going to toss that back in before i hit the track tomorrow. i didnt do shock pistons/oils besides throwing 30wt front 27.5 rear since i have a set of Kyo big bores on the way but i have White rear springs and black fronts i beleive. im running ribs up front right now so i know that is part of the problem.

one more quick question.. for those of you that shaved 1mm off the spindles and moved them up i noticed that they hit the diagonal brace on the caster blocks when the wheels are turned.. shave that off too?

Anyone played around much with the 3x1.4 pistons from Associated? Any feedback on how they went? Thanks

Can anyone give a general opinion on the difference of handling when switching from 3 limiters in the front shocks to 2 limiters?

thanks,

one would think removing a limiter will give you more droop therefore more front grip

Removing a limiter will increase the weight transfer to the opposite end. More front droop = more on power rear grip.

not necesarily, weight is only gonna transfer as far as the spring will allow
