I will only be running tekno from here on out :-)....I was faster on my first few laps than I think I've ever been with my AE that I had tons of hours on...and that was with the box setup and zero adjusting.

I'm not sure what is going on with why our servos wont center. Torque shouldn't be it, I'm running the 7955 servo. I will have to take a closer look when I start cleaning and waiting for my arms to show up.
I was hoping I wasn't speaking 2 soon...my servo was centering fine but the steering wasn't.

most definitely! its an awesome buggy. As with every newly released car, there is always room for refinements. This car is no different, but considering what it is bone stock it is in my opinion one of the best cars out there. What we are on batch 3 now? I would say Tekno is doing a great job.

Not to mention the build quality was amazing, I have never built a kit that was so precision made.

As far as the servo centering issue, I believe Danny posted awhile back about one half of the "saver" needing to be lightly sanded to remove a little bit of flashing. I'll have to search more for it but I was pretty sure it was in this thread.

Hello
Has the servo saver spring issue been fixed by tekno or does it still need to be improved by tekno ! Iam looking at buying a 3rd run eb48 and would like to know if the issue has been fixed!

Ha ha, both kits are still in their boxes, though I have opened one to have a look inside. The servo saver spring has got me worried, I don't want to lunch my new servo.

I also didn't read carefully enough that I need a pinion with this, so I have to go and choose one and get it ordered!

Anybody got a recommendation for pinion size to race with a Tekin 1900 motor?

I did this and it help for sure. You're not removing flashing, but actually some material from the outer circualr edge of the top piece, allowing the V-joints to settle together tighter.

a 16 pinion is a good starting place. Works well for indoor. For outdoors, you may have to go up a tooth or two.

Dear TeknoRC crew,

it looks like TKR5148 – Complete Front/Rear Differential and TKR5147 – Complete Center Differential are both of them out of stock.

- Any idea when they will be available ?
- Any upgrade of those parts ? (like new TKR5150 – Differential Gear Set inside)

Looking at the video, I would say that a 17 or 18 would be a pretty good starting point. This is the facility where the 16 was good.

Most of the layouts have a full straight unlike the one in the video.
