Scott struggled with his truck all weekend, the rear looked really bouncy, on small jumps he was flipping ass over. 4wd did not look good.

Scotty told me he was trying out a different piston setup and just didnt quite get it dialed yet.

also last week i was asking you guys about o-rings for shocks....

scott gave me the new inside tip tlr5093 is a great improvement over other options. nearly no stiction and no leaking either. the inner diameter is perfect for the shaft. outter diameter is a bit smaller than the cartrage. but not a big deal works fine. i just bought em. will give an update in the near future.

i heard those jumps left much to be desired in the constructuion department.
heard from a few people.

The jumps weren't that bad really, the track was a little on the bumpy side, but it is offroad racing. :P

There was just a tricky double into a step up double sort of thing that if you landed wrong it really unsettled your car. Scott's truck kept flipping over or getting out of shape there.

Did you race at Mikes last weekend ?

I didn't race, I was there and hung out for most of qualifying. I went up to Dallas for a guitar show instead of racing. I didn't really care for the race format of the SCSD last year, so I decided to skip it this year.

I race at Mike's probably 2-3 times a year.

Maybe you chanced to see Brown's 4w lead most of the B till the final laps ? ....

Yeah I did, and he fought the truck the whole time (and Q2 and Q3). He wasn't very happy with it TBH.

His 2wd looked great.

so, to sum up, basically the track was very bumpy with not so good jumps that had your vehicle come off of them funny? it was also loose conditions.

Track looks pretty good to me. Mikes Hobby Shop is one of the top hobby shops in the country.

No, the track was fine. Yes, a little loose for clay, but everyone has to drive the same track.

If anything the layout was boring, but there was nothing wrong with the track.
