We have a 9 year old driving the 811 Be and trust me he has done things to the car that noone of us ever imagined possible. still runs perfectly fine. His dad is very happy he doesnt have to buy too many spares

we have about 18 drivers running Serpent cars right now at the local track and new people joining everyday because the car is very strong. The local track is very brutal so anything else they have to keep alot of spares.

we have a parabolic jump that launches cars around 5 to 7 meters high if you take it wrong than you land flat to hard packed surface with rocks in it
usually nothing breaks. occasionally someone will land backwards and damage their wing or wing mount.
The most I sell is the wing mounts 600133 and rear springs.
at teh end of the season you ll be very happy with your decision because you will not be spending money on broken parts. you buy those when they are displeasing to look at

I haven't broken anything either, only bent a hing pin and a rear wing mount in a brutal impact with a steel pole. Before I actually sawit after the impact I was already calculating the parts to change, nothing but the bent pin that I was still ably to race with. Billy Easton deserves credit for the most well built 1/8 out there.

$.02 I've had a Mugen MBX6e, and a RC8.2e. The Serpent 811 be is impressive to say the least. Great build, handles great, and durable. I see these getting more and more popular.

We ended up selling all our cars to new users and we chose a competent driver they will like as our team driver, to lead the pack. result is a success. Pits are fast turning orange now.
also we have a very large stock compared to our market. that allows us to feed both ours and the surrounding markets around Turkey.

I hope this will help....

Same set up only with an Orion 1950 and yes, I have front tire ballooning. Just rebuilt all the diffs. leaving all the same but center...went to 7. so 5 7 3. May even play with 2 on the rear diff, have to see how it goes.

I see on the serpent website that this body is found in the spares section for the 811-be.
1.http://www.serpent.com/product/600438/
Then they show this body in the optional section for the 811-be.
2.http://www.serpent.com/product/600146/
Does this body fit like the stock body for the 811-be?

For the tire ballooning I am running the same setup (1900/rx8) and don't really have much ballooning going on. I run my current limit at 40-45. You can always put duct tape on the inside of your tires and that will help. You also might have broken down foam in the tires.
