Yeah, it looked a little long. I will stick with double-bagging the rear CVD joint. They last forever using this little technique. I actually have replaced the drive pin several times on the one I am running now because the joint is not wearing. I still clean it out and re-grease once in a while. Change the boots once or twice a year and good to go . . .

Default Bleeder Caps

The emulsion style shock and Losi bleeder caps seem pretty popular for the SCTE and 22 but they don't make them for the 8ight series. Would they be beneficial on the 8ight 2.0?

Here is a tip if you are having maintenance/wear problems with your rear CVD. Get the Losi boots that come with the kit and use another boot like Mugen to put inside to seal everything up so you can pack it with grease. Check it out . . .

Do you happen to know the part number for the mugen boot?

15/44 is what I run on my 1900. Pretty common starting/ending point.

Whats everyone gearing on a 2050kv T8 motor with a Rx8?

Does the 8ight use metric or standard hardware?

It uses standard.

You should probabaly start your gearing a lilttle lower than what I posted above

I've just bent my front shock tower, can someone recommend a good replacement one, or is the stock one pretty good to keep running with?

I had the same problem with the stocker. Went to the King Headz and no more problem. But I do not wreck as much anymore so am sure that helps.
