How many of you are running 3s/2650kv setup? It seems everybody runs 4s-6s or higher with lower capacity batteries.

Most of the 4S hardpacks will fit under the oem body if you have the battery at the back of the tray. It also depends on how you orientate the battery leads exit points (facing up or sideways or if they're at the front or rear of the tray). Having a body that has enough room underneath to move the battery forward and backward is a real benefit so you can start moving weight around to help with overall balance and steering. Good Luck

You're welcome, how were your temps after running? My car is lightning on that gearing! What ESC do you run again?

Seems like you are running a little light. I run a 4 cell 5000mah hard pack. I personally won't run any less the a 500mah hardpack. I know a lot of guys use soft packs but I don't trust them plus the hardpacks seem to fit better and its one less thing I have to worry about in the pit.

The 4s 5000mah just seem too heavy, and with 3s 5000-5300mah the car feels much better and still hauls but with a 2650 T8. I have a 1900kv T8 which I ran with the 4s, very long run time, but like I said, just felt too heavy.

So im looking for higher mah and c rating batteries but cant seem to find any for less than 160 bucks, Anyone have a link to batteries that wont break the bank and are reliable?

I personally like the weight. Makes the buggy more responsive to me. And it helps offset the weight of the motor. It's just my opinion though. My buggy is pretty balanced left to right. Front to rest is another story all together
