Mine is not quite that heavy yet, but the added lead already has it handling as you describe. I'm liking this truck more and more...

I noticed earlier that one of my sway bar pivot balls is in pretty bad shape (the ones that screw to the a-arm). Is there any alternative to these? The hardware set containing them costs like 20$, which is more than one swaybar kit itself.. that can't be the only source for these pivot balls, can it?

Yeah, that's pretty retarded. I just got another swaybar kit since it is the same $.
It's a pretty specific part so not sure if you can find a like part from another vehicle, maybe someone else on this thread knows of one.

I don't try to manipulate anyone , just like to discuss my Sc10 4x4 and help others enjoy theirs ...

Last night I cut all the vent holes on my JConcept High Flow & WoW !!!

Did not expect such a improvement in the the feel & stability it made even on indoor like TRCR .

Just want to say after reading this whole thread I've decided to finally register and join in on the conversations. I bought a first gen sc10 4x4 and raced it for about a six month period, then went to a losi scte, and now just built the ft. I really think the new ft is pretty good out of the box. The Losi was fast but I never really enjoyed driving it, so now the ft came out I had to try it and I can honestly say the move was right for me. The associated is just a blast to drive! I've been tuning and playing around with it a just went to the exo tek chassis, my times dropped by about a full second so I'm very excited again about this truck. Just wanted to check in and say hello, all the info on this thread is awesome and I'm looking forward to getting faster with this truck and using the great advice of others.

Yes, it works very well cut out. I had to shoegoo around the cuts on my second one just to give it a little more life.
Top rear of the cab vents was a problem spot for me, I must land on my roof too often

I had a wow moment as well going from the stock shell (cut out) that came with the kit.

Default help

Hey guys I need some advice for a large bumpy outdoor track. Running a rx8 with a 4000. Yesterday was my second race day. I think I was the only associated there. my truck is getting tossed around in the bumps even in the straight. The other trucks seem planted. Should I add weight or get another truck for outdoor? I would like to stick with the truck for this season. I'm running an outdoor setup from the AE site, stick pack, with AE upgrade kit.
