SC10 4x4 Thread
It rains 320 days a year here and experience flooding yearly. Big Drops or not.
We know what rain is.
That's "quality" for you. I've been down this road pages ago, and got burned.
Spend the extra money on "real" quality controlled Cells.
The Protrak wheels are standard 2.2/3.0 wheels with a Zero offset. Proline 2.0's are still a standard tire, and fit on 'any' 2.2/3.0 rim.

Seems like overkill. The regular 10A model is more than enough and fits nice mounted to the inside wall of the esc tray or center chassis. How much do they want for the Pro? you might be able to get the regular one shipped overnight cheaper since it's so small.
I'm sure you could find somewhere to mount it, I've seen guys mount the MMP on top of the rear tranny

Thanks for taking the time give me some initial feedback, looks like Blitz tyres and 10K rear diff for a start then!, my camber link settings are;
Front Camber Link, Outside, 2mm washers
Rear Camber Link, Inside, 1mm washers, Rear hub B
Are you using the Blitz 4.5mm offset wheels as well, which compound D or S?
Thanks again

Make your rear camber link as long as you can and make it as parallel to the ground as possible, this will give you the most traction.
Try 25 w oil front and 20 rear with 1.1 pistons
Here is a cheap place to buy the tires......http://www.hobbies4life.com/HPI_1033.../hpi103337.htm

I have an RX8, and I know many others who do as well. I stole it out of my e-Maxx when MT racing died and SC racing took over. It's several years old and still performs like it was new (aside from replacing the $10 fan every year or so.) In my SC104x4 the temps barely get high enough to turn the fan on....by the time I get down from the driver's stand, the fan has usually turned off. I run a "power hungry" Savox 1258 and have never had any glitching or brown outs.

I live here on the west coast too and will agree with you that you know what rain is. But... East coast rain is far worse. I lived in KY and AK. I agree with the other dude heavyjeffd. Rain and storms back there are LOUD, scary, and blinding! Dont get my started on the T-storms and Tornados. Nothing compared to the west coast. Yeah yeah, they're both wet and flood. lol Man, it would rain so hard in OK that I would have to pull over off the road cuase I couldnt see where I was going. Wipers could not wipe fast enough.
We get on with our lives 320days a year walking in the rain. (You know when someone's not from Oregon when they are driving 5 under the speed limit when it's wet or raining.)
Our Mcdonalds was flooded up to the drivethrough and people are taking boats through the drivethrough. Best memory as a kid. What a great winter that was.

Speaking of Which:
Meldrum Bar Track is washed out from flooding. =(
