SC10 4x4 Thread
V2 center diff problem. Truck weighs 6.5 pounds, and during take off or hard exceleration on assfault, and turf my diff is slipping. I have it assembled correctly, and the clutch spring is completely compressed. I'm running 9 pins as recommended for a high bite conditions. Am I going the wrong way with this given the high traction surfac I'm running on. Seems more pins reduce the diff action. My guess is that it's such a heavy truck on a high traction surface that something has to give. Any one else come a cross this? Should I switch back to the VTS?
I'm running a MMP 1410 setup geared 62/14.

Even on a high grip track i havent had to go more than 6 pins .
Hey Marcus! I put an order in for Garo discs and an RCShox shirt last night (sat). I can't wait to try those discs in the MTK basket! I have been back to racing for only three weeks now and am finishing better every time out. I'm sure the shirt will help too... Lol.
Sal
PS, could you let me know the correct placement of the discs using the basket?

Cameron could you post your pinned ring mod?

If the terminals heated up that much, it has nothing to do with the lipo cells themselves (except that the battery was able to deliver enough power to generate that kind of heat). That kind of thing happens when you have high resistance/bad connections, i.e. the bullets you used didn't have enough contact surface or the soldering was bad on the ESC or on the terminals inside the battery.
I can say the Ae VTS is awesome as well !
The VTS triple slipper performance is a dream come true with mass traction , no wheel spin .
The incredible acceleration it brings ?
Means
I can rule with on any track, inside or outdoors, carpet, ect ...
Best part ?
Its only $17 .....
Last night was a blast , last changes made the truck even faster than week before .
6 16sec lap last Sat
maybe 14 16sec yesterday
new track record , Tq time record
Losi , Durangos & conversions ...
They are all going to have to step up their game now ...

I have seen him race several times, easily one of the fastest and smoothest drivers at TRCR.

Do tell anyone....
Its about the lap times and over all laps
What matters is how fast you go, not who you beat .....
Was only expressing just how good the Sc10 4x4 truck is performing for me , not how good I am ...
Was a little excited from last nights racing , kinda happens when I get to run my Sc10 4x4....

Still wound up even ....He !
*******>>How was the battle Cameron ?

Do you always balance you batteries? Do you run to Lipo cut off? 3v or 3.2v?
Can we see the style of lead you use to connect them?
I'm only showing concern as I have 3 packs for my new truck but I only have the 4000kv Tenshock SC411 although I will be running for long durations as I have no one to race with round here.

Long time racer, looking to get the FT SC10 4x4. Ive ran a slew of trucks, however, I'm highly interested in this truck. Looks like the truck has just about everything needed upgrade wise, minus maybe different slipper pads and obvious tuning springs and such. Not planning on running the Exo yet due to limited funds. Anything special I should know? Like are the arms super soft? Is there a correction to it, etc? I've ran 4wd buggy, E-truggy and all other 1/10th class minus 4wd SC so just wanna make sure that I'm not left high and dry is all. Truck looks tip top. I'll be running on a large, indoor 1/8th clay track for the winter and 1/8th outdoor next summer. Thanks for any responces ;p
