Just ordered a FT 4x4,

Was wondering if AE lets me assemble the diffs or do the come pre-assemble like the non-ft kit?

I understand AE is trying to save the builder some time by pre-assembling some items (Arm, Diffs, Shocks) But I buy the kit because I enjoy building it.

The diffs and shocks are un-assembled in the FT. Front hubs are pre-assembled.

Fresh body & a new set of shoes today.. ( JConcept pressure points)

new rpm arms , new Ae conversion kit & a little extra blue eye candy...
Let me know how the new shoes work, almost got those but thought I would stick to what I know works (bar codes) till I hear some feedback.

Does anyone know spring rates for original RC8 front springs as they appear to be same diameter and length as rear 4x4 springs? Might work a little better on the rear as they are correct length.

Seems like outdoor starting point is 6 and indoor starting point is 8. Edit: low traction 6, high traction 8. Your driving style will influence how you set it up as well.

Go to the rcshox thread in this site, there are kind of instructions on the 1st and read the last couple pages and that should fill in the blanks.

You guys think a non xdrive gtb2 will manage the work load of pushing this truck around with a 5.5 540 can, running 25c 5000 saddle packs? Or am I going to need to pony up to an rx8 and pro4?

If I go with the rx8 are my 25c saddle packs going to put enough power out?
