Sounds Good, what Saddle Pack you planning on running? I just got a B44.1 and got a great deal on a Reedy 5100 7.4v pack I am also waiting on a servo and an new Rec. to get in before I run it. I am running a Tekin RS Pro with a 6.5 Redline motor, but like LRP products a lot so am stoked to hear you got your hands on one of the X20's. If you don't mind can you give some feed back on the Servo when you get it in?

Ok so I finally got my battery in the mail and hooked it up. I am now fairly concerned as there are several problems. This is my first kit and after spending so much money on it, I'm scared I'll screw it up.
First the steering binds when I go full one direction or the other. Just by looking at it with my eye it appears to be centered. How do I adjust the suspension to fix this issue?
Next problem is my battery won't fit without extending the battery posts, could someone link me to longer posts?
Next up I need to know how problematic it would be to cut the carbon fibre in order to fit the plugs for my battery? Would it damage the structure of the plate to much? From looking at it any post would need to be pretty low profile inorder to go beneath the top plate.

I actually had to do the same thing with my gens ace 6000 lipos. I took a 1/4" round file and carefully traced out what I thought I would have to remove to clear the battery posts( I had to put the post towards the back of the car) and just went slow until I could fit the pack. and then afterwards sanded the new indentation and coated with ca glue.

I've been running them for a month now. I only have 3 official race nights (2 qaulies and a main per night) on them and they are performing really well. Buggy hooks up on large sweepers holding the inside line. Can't really see a big advantage on the jumps. My set up is in the rebound (reverse) position using the 3/4/5 valves. I have the option valves but have not installed them yet.
i flipped the pistons with the valves( stock set of valves) and went 35f 35r with full rebound and the thing performed great! I am going to go down to 32.5 fronnt to see if that a little better. I actually raced my first race in about 17 years on sunday, one qualifier and a main, I did great in the qualifier, finished second. and then broke my front arm on a 1/8th style tripple about 4 min. in to the main. ide have to say I was very impressed with the car with these mip pistons.
thanks for the info!

For some reason, the servo mounting holes on the chassis plate are super variable.
I tried a 1258 in my car, and if I were to grind a few mm of as you suggest, I'd be compromising the threads in the ball end on the bellcrank.
My friends' B44.1 has nearly 2mm clearance with the same set up! Way to go, AE!

Ha I asked the same question not too long ago and didn't get many answers. SO...I went on Kyosho's site and looked up Tebo's ZX-5 shock setup for the Reedy 2011 at West Coast RC (my local track). I know it's not the same buggy but the specs on the Kyosho are pretty similar in dimensions and weight Kyosho being a touch lighter. Haven't run it yet though but at least I have a ballpark to start with.

No worries Asharus. I just did the same thing. I went to the LHS to buy springs for the B44.1 but bought springs for my B4.1...that I already have! Getting these 2 darn buggies mixed up all the time. Thanks again.
