SC10 4x4 Thread
I couldn't say since I've never owned the exotek saddle setup. The thing I can say is from seeing pics of the exotek setup is that you have to unscrew the holders on one side each in order to get the lipo's in and out. With the FT version its just a tab you slide in place to hold the strap down. So IMO the FT version is better since its alot easier to get the lipo's in and out.......

I don't know about max but the min. you should go with is 1000g, these are the scales I use:

You want scales that go from 0-1000. Higher is okay, but they are more money, and they are also larger so they take up room in your pit box (mine go to the track).
Thanks for all the info you guys have put up and the feedback I have received, but I have decided to sell my truck and electronics. Very clean truck with RX8 and pro 4 4000. I will get pics up this afternoon or you can pm me. Thanks again.
I got 4 of these from Harbor Freight and they work great. http://www.harborfreight.com/1000-gr...ale-97920.html
Input your corner weights here http://robrobinette.com/corner_weight_calc.htm
After the saddle setup I had a cross weight of 49.9% (50% optimal) with out any tweaking.

I much prefer the 4600 over the 4000. The 4000 just has too much torque for any slipper combo
Got my first, and probably only FT part in the mail today. Here's a couple of pics showing the difference between the stock ackerman bar and the FT one.
BTW, Little local track opened up by me, track has a nice little washboard section, something the bigger indoor track never has.
My truck, running rcshox 2-stage pistons, is owning that section of the track. I can blast it flat out and the truck never gets out of shape, it's a lot of fun. Wish the big track had some washboard sections... If your running on anything other than the smoothest of smooth, do yourself a favor and pick up some 2-stagers.....

thanks for the info. May look into the RPM ride height gauge then.
also bought some of those scales. $30 shipped for a set of four out of the USA, I figure not bad.
And it looks like my Pro4 motor is here! Hooray!
