Keep going on the installation process. eveything looks good. Mine looks exactly like yours. The knuckles will hit the steering stops before your servo horn hits the servo case. Thats part of the deal with the Associated..really does not travel all that far for as much steering as this truck has!

After a full day of racing i noticed no fade at all on my slipper and amazing punch out of the corners. Just cave in and get the clutch basket and stop wasting money on pads.
i just wish this car had a center diff instead of this split slipper thing :/ ...
so the clutch basket doesn't weight that much at all? added rotational mass is what's holding me back from getting the basket. i have a more elegant and lighter basket design in mind if the original maker would like to make a version 2.0
(PM me for details)

the basket allows the vehicle to jump off the line as hard as you'd like it to, I know I cant feel any difference between my two trucks..one has it installed, the other does not! The benefits far outway any drawbacks!

Whats the hub bub??It looks damn rear the same as the original shell?? They (team Ae) are the most scale looking Short course truck shells on the market , imo..MarqueeRc is just not intrigued b/c they are virtually the same asthetically..

Looks like the other two bodies they already have. Nothing special for vent cut outs. I don't know, just no wow factor like the other new bodies that have come out lately by Pro-line and J-concepts.

did this to mine too, No replacement available so mine is currently running a slightly bent top shaft with a clutch basket, no issues but I will replace the top shaft ASAP. Clutch basket is great!!!! I know Mac has had additional orders from my area based on my results....that's ok Mac no thanks needed.......oh racer1812 says..

That said, those Hakko setups look pretty sweet. But I wouldn't label them as "necessary".
I consider myself experienced and pretty good at soldering... I have soldered two RX8, one with a 45W soldering station and one with a cheap 80W iron. All I can say is that the 80W iron did the job MUCH easier and better.

My experience is that the RX8 is much harder to solder than other things I've done because the heat is dissipating so fast through to the heat sink.

The kit includes all the springs available for the front or the rear. Should be 4 springs per kit.

Default SC10 4x4 under tray

Thought I would share the new under tray with y'all. I'll be doing the vents this evening with some mesh behind it as well. Wish it would offer some motor cover because where I race it gets dusty....

when the motor is also inside the underbody, you would get much more heat trapped
