The C Hub makes the car feel different. It's not better or worse but it is definitely different. I feel that it gives me more all around rear bite and stability. Especially on the jumps.

It's not a big deal to do the mod and really if you are going to be racing, you should have this tuning option. I suggest having 2 U braces. One shaved, one without. it's not an expensive part and will make it easier. Plus in a jam, you can always run the other if you brake it.

When you run these:

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...t-C-Left-Right

When you run those Carbon Fiber hub towers, you are lowering the ball stud position by .060 (2 washers). In order to keep the correct geometry, you have to lower the inside as well. So what you do is shave the area on the U Brace where the ball stud screws into so that it's flat. When you buy the Carbon Fiber (C Tower) Hub Tower, there's a small instruction supplement instructing you on this. Tomorrow is car cleaning day, I'll try to remember to snap some pics and post em if no one else has any that they can post up.
I understand,thanks.

I just got a b4 factory team for free from a friend, he didnt use it, but the man he bought it from put the full carbon fiber kit on. Every part is carbon fiber. The buggy is so tight together and it handles like a dream. Just need to get my gtb and a sensored motor in there!

Because i mainly race 17.5 blinky, I always run with my 72 tooth spur and change the pinions based off what track / motor I am running.

On the larger track i race at (basically an indoor 8th scale track) I run blinky 13.5 with end bell timing maxed out and a 29 tooth pinion and it runs awesome. Ice cold, yet plenty fast everywhere on the track.

Ask him if AE is working on a new spring package, along with the big bores, like Kyosho and Yokomo's. We need springs with more progression.

I know personally that springs are a high priority for them.

The Worlds car comes with 30 degree caster blocks.

I'm not sure what springs Cav is running...I've heard other AE drivers are using the new AVID springs...

Im running the Kyosho Big Bore springs on standard v2 shocks...pricey to do so but worth it..
