I thought you were talking Celsius until I thought about it for a minute

Yikes so cal guys are spoiled with 3 indoor tracks within 30-45mins from each other. I used to run nitro so understand dealing with the elements haha, including wind resistant safety glasses on the windy days so the eyes don't dry

Today was the first day I manage to break both front axles and my rear shock tower. And I was doing my normal driving, not anything crazy where I crash into walls. Maybe the plastic was time to give away? Too bad there wasn't the JC axles in the store

Sucks, I broke my first part today in almost two months on a new kit, 1/8 hit me full speed at the end of the straight, turnbuckle popped off after two of us clipped and i called straight, dude didn't listen, he slammed me at full speed after I was sitting there 10seconds. Broke my right rear arm, bent the hing pin and slightly bent the motor plate, not even a sorry, like he never even noticed he hit anything. Luckily only needed to buy the rear arm, bent the other two parts into shape. Might go titanium hing pins but that should have never happened.

On a side note, tried the handlebars back to back with my gold bar codes a second day now and the barcodes seem overall better, maybe it was my foam choice but both had the pro line closed cell inserts.

Yeah an 8th scale slammed into my 7 year olds truck last week. Ripped the front hex hub in half. He did stop by to ask if I had a spare part. He is a sponsored driver so it was good of him to stop by. I was really suprised he hit her so hard. Accidents happen I guess

If you want a motor plate come find me on friday / saturday. I will be at OCRC on friday at around 4 (hopefully, depending on traffic) and saturday for the TNS. I have a couple extras. Just ask Jackie who I am or look for this:

nice paint matt. What motor plates do you run matt? I was thinking of trying the avid or the AE black one with no milling. I think mine is tweaked, the gear cover is not sitting flush.

Thanks, went back to the normal colors for me. I have had the Avid one and it was nice, only thing is i thought the car sounded louder because of the cutouts. I have the black milled AE one on my cars now...It matches my JConcepts Black Wing Mounts great!

Lol well this is my second FULL day at the track just for simple practice... I would have expected longer lasting parts. But having someone rear end you causing you to break parts is such a problem in the RC world especially when they ignore the fact it is their fault. Same goes for at my track, but the thing is, even if I were to say "sorry", the people just ignore >_>

The fact that you mentioned proline CC inserts, I would like to ask what is the big difference using CC vs the included white inserts given in tires. Is it like a big upgrade/noticeable on the car?

PS. So jelly of the b44.2 my brother has... the b4.1 2wd platform surely teaches/ makes you obey your driving skills which vastly improved when stepping up to 4wd.

Nice of him to stop by, yeah accident happen. Its just nice to have someone at least apologize for not paying attention (considering straight was yelled), I mean if I didn't crash I wouldn't have been on the straight lol

Thanks Matt, very nice of you to offer, it was just a little off, it bent back nicely. By the way, who does your paint?

What is your opinion for someone like me who might need a new motor plate? Go with milled ones or not? Was planning to get the milled, but not sure what pros/cons would outweigh each other.

No problem, I have a couple extra blue ones. Kustom RC Graphics does it, Larry Genova (Zach Genova's Dad), he is out of Ocala, FL.

Darkside Designs has some cool stuff on ebay once in a while. I bought a few and I am now #1 dad.
