Why aren't you *still* worried?

your servo will be fine..the servo arm will snap before the servo will break

Main reason is I am back racing now for a couple months and I am starting to feel comfortable again. Not worried I'm going to destroy the car when I put it on the track.

I figured.. must be nice to be GOOD.

So, what kills a servo anyway? Straight noseplant into a hill? Or an off-center hit? Or..? I only ask since I just ordered a new 1258tg servo, I'm going to stick with the servo saver as normal until I stop crashing -- but someday, I might be as bold...

I think what kills the servo the most is when you blast down the straight and drift over into a pipe and your tire yanks the servo hard.

So it's when you're applying opposite lock and the wheel gets slammed in the other direction from the side.. Seems like you could break SEVERAL things with that happening. Hopefully the trailing arm ball cup would go first..

Yep. By the way, the tlr aluminum servo arm works well in the 4.1. Oddly, the caster block broke on the next run though. Better that than a servo I guess.

Here are the collars I made to fit the BB springs, using bottoms off of older XXX-T shocks
