For one, I would appreciate you participating more, not less. If you felt unwelcome, I personally apologize - everyone I know who knows you says you are a good guy. Some of us ask hard questions, and I don't expect that to change. So lets start over again, with a hardball but easily answered question -
What is the official line on warped A arms?
I have replaced three pair of them after they warped severely enough to bind on the hinge pins. Other than the first pair, my truck is always stored tires off and on a car stand, and since the second pair, additionally stored with the shocks removed from the vehicle.
In my case, my truck is ran exclusively at the track, and the arms are only good for about 3 race weekends, rotating them L/R every race day.

As for the arms, yes they bend. I've seen it happen and had it happen to myself. I haven't had it happen quite as bad as you though, but then again, I don't run nearly as much as you do! Originally I told guys to store their trucks off the tires, which is good for more than just the arms. However it seems like that didn't help. Do you mind sending me the arms so I can take them to our engineering department for them to look at? That way we can get a better idea of what's going on and how fix the issue.
Thanks George.

IMO this is a much more urgent issue to address than adding an optional saddle pk configuration. At least for us average racers, who has finite resource/time and can't buy/change the diffs case ($10.00) every 2 races.

Also i just wanted to say thank you chris for your time.
On the a arms i have only replaced one pair yes they were warped. I have them in my box at ocrc if u want to show them to the boys as well i have some diff housings and such. I drive this truck quite a bit maybe i can help..
Good to know. I want to use the inner body as out here they can sometimes soak the track.
all you have to do is dremel out a very small portion of the overtray where the brace mounts in the rear, the rest fits fine,

No, there are no plans for a new plastic. Making new plastics would require new molds, which are far from cheap!
The hard questions are fine, I have no problem with that.

There is a solution in the works, I am just not sure how long it will be. Hopefully quite soon!
Thanks George.

Pretty disappointing FT release. I already have most of these upgrades in one form or another on my truck. I'm psyched that I just saved $300. I think the best feedback for AE is simply not to buy one if you already have a perfectly good "FT clone" truck. (Or is the FT truck the "rctech clone"?)
Seriously, money speaks louder than words. If you are not impressed, don't buy it. I'm certainly not going to.
Really, a band-aid chassis brace rebranded FT?
Seriously? For real?

I was actually wondering if AE had a parallel idea about a ball diff in the works too.
I think inner bearing idea one of the guys posted here is a great approach. Not only to fix the wobble, but may also add durability and smoothness.

Here is my current take on the diff mod. I used a 5x10x4 bearing since I have a bunch. By machining the shaft on the drive shaft and eliminating the outside shim I have 2mm of support on the diff case and 2mm more support for the drive cup shaft. Now to see how it holds up in the rear tranny.

FT kit is a bargain! for $100 more than the reg. kit you get the following (Absolute must if you want to be competitive parts)-
1. Sway bars- $35
2. Chassis brace- $30
3. Clutch basket- $35
~ $100
Alum. hex= $14
Hard Anodized shock bodies with gold shafts= ~$60
Proline surburbs tires (rear)= $20
~$100 for free!
Not adding the saddle pk. conversion kit...
