SC10 4x4 Thread
Hey wdf firemedic.
Yes the truck runs again. I live near the mfg of the system , went in and they gave me a new enire set up, motor and esc. Got it put back in painted up a new body we were good to go, but dang it still smells like cooked electronics.
I threw in a new servo saver on losi 1 and rebuilt shocks with a new shaft on losi #2 and we were back off to the scene of the smokeout.
The truck is fricken dialed in now team smell of money was on rails with it rc shox 2 stage pistons , center diff, and saddles switched from side to side to inline now and chassis brace. Went a little lighter with shock oils as it has been chilly in the eves here and it is just smooth and predictable. I wish my driving skills we able to do the truck some justice. Let a few of the fast guys run it and they are all smiles and want to pull off body to see whats going on under there.
Buggys did well , my indoor set up was working fine ( man I still love 1/8 scale buggy so much power and planted feel with the weight and wheelbase) and I was much more consistant with it than the sc 10, and the outdoor set up eight was just that , a beast on the tight track. But a solid thursday night at LRH track rolled out of there around 130 am tired and happy
so ole smokey does run again

Do you like to slide the rear end / drift the corners? Seems like a good setup for that style as it would be very stable, but seems like it would push like crazy.
Hey everyone,
I replaced my CVAs today as the right hand side pair looked like boomerangs. But low and behold after a small session at my mates track this afternoon, my brand new rear right CVA was slightly bent.
With my powers of observation, I can see that where the sway bar passes over my rear CVAs, there are scuff marks, and it seems this is the origin of the bend.
Is it safe to assume that when landing a somewhat large table top jump, my CVAs are smacking the sway bars and bending? And only on the right side cause of stick pack configuration?
I've never used limiters before as I'm new to RC, are they the solution? If so are they the c shape clips that came with the kit? And how are they installed? Very noobish of me, but I appreciate your help.
Cheers.
