I have to wait on bearings and then test to see if the plastic diff will hold up with only 1.5mm on each side.

I vote CoyoteSlash drops his truck 3 feet wide open and see if the diff holds up. Then post the carnage on youtube.

Default pro4 motors

Which would be better for this truck the 4600kv or the 4000kv pro4 motors? I will be running on an indoor track in the winter (Lap times are around 20 seconds) and outdoor in the summer. Will the 4600kv be to much power? Will it run like the 4000kv if you just turn it down on the esc? (I have an rx8)

Thanks

4000 is more than enough, read back through the last 10 pages or so for information on that question.

I did read through the last 10 pages ..... Just wasnt clear if slowing it down on the esc would give the same result as a 4000kv.

Remember also that anytime you reduce the endpoints on your Tx your losing resolution as well. 90% vs 100% probably wouldn't be that big of an issue, but if you have to cap it around 75% or less you may notice a lack of fine control.

you can probably tame it down enough to drive it but there is no reason to use the 4600 on a truck this light, the 4000 is a handful for most! what ESC do you have?

I'll actually finish the first versions as B allowed, and do just that if you guys want. YOU'RE PAYING FOR NEW FOAMS THOUGH.

Default CoyoteTek Chassis Brace ON HOLD

Effective Immediately:

All Chassis Brace orders are on Hold. I'm doing this because I have increased the price to 20.00 and am creating a much more eye pleasing FT edition for you guys. Everything up to this point was high quality 40% Airframe Dubro material, but because only one of you has broken my Brace. (good job!) I'll be going for a still very strong option but with a little flashy Blue anodized hardware.

So as far as the (I believe) 6 of you who are waiting on Orders.
~2 of you, Are in the mail. You can PM and ask.

The rest of you. (unless you need your Brace ASAP, PM me for the older style) Are on hold until I recieve the parts to build the FT Chassis Braces.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience but you will enjoy the bling compared to the old utility braces. Thank you for your patience. I am one guy, and I will rush my best between work and (maybe a little play? PLEASE?) To get all these out ASAP. All FT parts are on Order Now. I should be building this weekend if all my orders went through.

Thanks alot guys for supporting Fellow members, Mac, Mantis, and myself.

---------
While I wait on the hardware, i'm going to get to work on this Diff thing.

rx8

At the track I race at the other sc10 4x4s run 4.5t 550 motors .... is the 4000kv the equivalent to a 4.5t 550?
