I have the Tekin Rs with a Trinity 13.5 D3 in my b4,1. With the boost and timing this thing hauls a**. Thinking of getting an 8.5 D3 also. I use a MMP with a 7.5 tekin in my t4 and its awesome. The RS has a few more settings then the MMP, but I love both of them.

Bob.

glueing ur servo saver isnt gonna hurt ur servo or stop it from breaking,as long as ur epa are set coorect its nothing to worry about.plusi know theservo u have and it isnt a sub par sevro.By gluing it, it will give u the responce and direct feel that u want with a 2wd buggy, servos are too fast and 2 powerful nowa day for the servo savor spring and just the little input from it , it gives that delay that u dont want.. Do you thonk i would tell you to do something to you car knowing that you are just starting out again and will hurt u?..

chris,

i believe the by using the non milled motor plate does add thatlittle bit of weight but i think it was mostly use for the non flex compared to the milled... Also if ur at a track that has alot of big jumps it def will hlp from bending the milled... Thats also something u need to ccheck reg ur motor plate, put it on a flat surface and check for tweak...

Merry christmas guys

hello ae enthusiasts!

I am just getting back into racing after a 4 month break/sellout. I used to run a Kcar in the past but parts support was an issue, very rarely did I break, but its nice to have a wall to go to when you do. I just found out that thje shop at my local track is not carrying Kyosho parts anymore, so.......he is well stocked with ae parts though so I am thinking of making the switch to a FTb4.1+8mm chassis w/ JC Finnisher body.....Did anyone go from a Kyosho sp2 to a +8b4.1? How was getting used to it? Did it kill you or make you go zoom zoom zoom? What about batteries, are most setups using the standard sized packs or shorties? thanks guys, I will be ordering a new car next Friday. Pretty sure Im gonna switch to ae, just want a little push...haha

I just got some Scrubs and I don't know which way they go? Could someone post a pic or describe the direction? Thanks

Arrows forward = more traction
Arrows backwards = less traction

I've been told the exact opposite, just try both and decide for yourself.

I'm getting ready to order a +8 chassis. Can I modify my existing body to work or do I need to order a new body also?

Every picture ive seen of Cav's car has the arrows pointing to the back of the car. Thats the way I run them and Ive tried both ways. In my experience they have a little more forward bite Pacman style.

It will fit fine. Not perfect, but 8mms really isnt that much so any standard body will still fit. The regular Bulldog probably fits the best, but I ran the stock Proline Vortex body on my +8 for awhile before i got a Finnisher.

Yeah. I guess its a matter of feel to the driver.

I was told arrows forward for more traction by a lot of people that have been doing this for a long time.

I used rib front tires so it doesn't really matter to me

Yeah, some of the guys at my track run them the other way too. All a matter of personal preference.
