imho you want the finnisher...

http://www.jconcepts.net/store/index...roducts_id=495

has the best handling characteristics of any body out. the finnisher in use with the hi clearance 6.5 wing is great

i like the high clearance wing because when you bottom out the rear suspension it doesnt rub on the wing.
it also seems like they hold up better than any wing i have tried in recent history!

What pinion gear should I use on a b4.1 on an indoor clay track with an 81 tooth spur gear to run in the 17.5 non timing class?

You can use the 81 but I would drop to the 78 or 75 if you can. I would start with a 27 or 28 and work your way up from there but most likely you will end up around 78/31 with a non-timing setup. Always keep tabs on your motor temp.

I don't really want to buy a new spur gear and some pinion gears. So is there any way I can use the 81? what is the reason I can't use the 81?

You may run out of space with the 81 in order to get a large enough pinion on for 17.5 non-boosted.

yeah the largest i fit with a 81 was a 28. and that was "ok" for a 13.5 non boosted

17.5 id think 81/30 would be needed, and i dont think a 30 will fit on there.

I run a 17.5 non-boosted and I am geared at 72/35 for a FDR of 5.2. I use a Fantom Apex with the motor timing about 2.5 clicks past middle. I have also ran 75/33 and was pretty fast also. With the 17.5 blinky class we need as much top end as we can get, and the 72/35 works really well. If you get to much heat you can run the 75/33 and still be pretty fast.

I posted that FTW body a little while back when I discovered, and I also emailed FTW about the body. As it says per description it fits the B4 with T4 chassis, so no it will not fit. You'll have to get the Night Fox(non XL).

I haven't seen ANY b4s or actually any buggy with their body yet. I am going to be ordering mine within the next week or so, I'll post pictures of that ugly mug when i'm done painting with it.

This was supposed to be an XL on my kids T4.1 (the package says it is but I don't believe it).
