Save up some money and get your hands on a Hobbywing XR10 pro combo. It would be a lot easier to drive. Otherwise you will be buying electronics twice. There's a huge difference

I just don't like the quality of the Schumacher kits. Belts are also a headache for me. But if you definitely want something different go for it and enjoy the build!

You want a sensored combo.

Ruddog cheap sensored motor would do the job (50 bucks). If you are running Mod, go for 5.5t to 7.5t motor depending on the track.

A note for everyone reading this thread: It seems that some MO2.0 kits are coming with older SF2 slipper spring. Please check that before assembly. Older spring can make your slipper assembly wobble....

No brand in the market tops up Yokomo quality, but you will be fine with an AE. You can always go back to Yokomo after seeing how good AE plastic, aluminum and carbon are.

Shock caps are now flat instead of domed. I think Yokomo 12mm shocks were losing a lot of pack due to the "vintage" shock cap design. That's another add for increased dampening
