Will do! Probably won't be anything too crazy... just good electronics and the Vitavon axle mount kit. Want to try to keep it reliable to bash around and pop some curbs.

Thanks smirk! After doing some more research I pulled the trigger on some 24mm adapters for the Kraton Outcast... Axles seem to be the same size. We'll see!

I can find any number of 1/8 truggies pulling wheelies with a center diff and given the usa1 is a taller/shorter truck with larger tires I have no doubt in my mind that you could engineer a center...

USA-1 VE question! Pls advise

Just ordered a USA-1 and a set of proline wheel/tires and may need to find some 17mm hubs with an offset to compensate for the loss of the factory deep dish wheels. Don't know if it will be necessary...

thicker oils will send enough power to the rear for a wheel stand, which would make it easier to drive and reduce wear on the rear diff... there are benefits to running a center diff.

I use brake parts cleaner from the local auto store. Evaporates quickly but cuts through evertying and lube moving parts with a dry graphite spray.
