1. Sauce as early as you can. Usually full rear and only 1/4 of front tire (inside edge)....

Yup. Practice is broken down by groups now over the course of an hour or so. 1/8 nitro, 1/5 & 1/8 rubber tire, electric, 1/10 nitro all generally get the track to themselves for 15-20 mins.

You caught us! To cut down costs we share 1 car and switch up the bodies ;)

They are heavy and the 1/8th guys get sensitive if pebbles get on the track. So we just take pictures with bodies

Good times this weekend at Steel City R/C. 4 rounds of qualifying on Sat followed by B and A mains on Sunday. Pretty awesome seeing 10+ cars on the track at once in the A.

Ok, cool. FWIW, I'd dump the plastic steering arm and pick up an aluminum one, in which case you wouldn't need the insert at all. For throttle/brake, stock is fine.
