Losi Xcelorin lipos are basically Thunder Power packs so it's not suprising that they fit. They also could be found cheaper than TP packs too. Excellent lipos.

Reduce you rear droop. The nimh packs were much heavier so the main chassis didn't rise as much off power so some weight still stayed on the rear pod. The Exotek chassis's pivot suspension also...

The Tamiya Xanavi GT-R works great and has pretty good balance. The Tamiya NSX would be my first choice though BUT it's use is pretty much limited to Tamiya IFS cars.

You could get a 1 1/2" hole saw and cut out discs from aluminum sheets of different thicknesses. I think Home Depot has different thicknesses of anodized aluminum sheet.
