Default New JRX-S R for $199!!!

Very tempted to get one but, is the price an indication that Losi/Horizon is about to discontinue it?? Maybe even a new chassis coming out soon??? Also, why doesn't Losi have any pan cars?? Losi/Horizon if you are reading, your basher RTR line is well developed, focus some more on race vehicles on and off road. Your non-garbage 2WD SCT is a start, hopefully it becomes a trend.

They are probably just unloading the cars. It's old technology on that car. Losi never supported the onroad program that's why I think it never picked up for them. It would be nice to see some onroad stuff from them.

Great Deal! This car just won the stock class I believe in the hands of Mike Haynes at a big race in the US (either IIC or Snowbirds or Nationals I believe).

Correct me if I am wrong on my facts.

Old tecnology that was ahead of its time. The typer-R is still a competitive car. (Look at the results of french driver Lucas Urbain at the worlds, the european championship and ETS just last week)

Yes, Mike was very fast with his car at the IIC.

All the company is trying to get the car balance left and right losi already have done this. But I believe TM E4 has achieved a well more balance car.

I still dont see why anyone would spend 199 on this when they can buy a used Xray for about the same or even a brand new T3R for about $75 more.. Makes no sense to me..

I've been running my type-R for the last 3 years, this past year i've beaten every other car on the market outdoors onroad (except a t3 driven by a factory guy) and last year indoor the Type-R was the fastest car on the track.

The reason you DON'T buy a T2/T3 is because they've been updated 6!! times since the Type-R was released and they still have a hard time w/ the Losi car in the hands of a regular driver.

There are things on the car that can use improvement but nothing that is NEEDED to win, period. I slap tires on my car clean my diff once a week and i go fast . Can't argue w/ that. Parts are inexpensive and don't really break that often (haven't replaced a knuckle in 2 months) readily available from any hobby shop that has access to horizon and best of all setups that work inside w/ only a slight tweak work outside. To me all these things make my Type-R perfect for me .

I've raced my Type R twice now. A 2nd & a 1st. This car is sweet from start to finish every time!
I just bought one of the $199.00 kits just for parts. So I'm covered for a long time. But so far I haven't broke anything yet.
This one's a keeper!

Wow. I'd say stock up at that price. Very cool! Great car that with some new development could easily be the best car. Most of the lastest mods offered by 3rd party vendors like Flying Fox and Exotek are making this chassis a very serious contender again.
