I agree with you Mike. I fought with a TRF415msx all summer trying to get some consistancy out of it. Found the sweet spot a couple of times, but the rest of the time, it was no fun at all.
This Type R has been sweet from the first pull of the trigger. Consistant lap after lap. It makes racing easier cause I can now consentrate on driving & working thru traffic instead of wondering what the car will do at the next corner.
Anyone want a TRF415MSX????

I called Losi today and they said they are not discontinuing, they said they realized the age of the car and that they could not keep charging what they did several years ago. Why would this car be a problem to get parts for if we can still get parts for a xxx-s? All I can say is this die hard (other brand) has been converted to this OLD TECH car.
Ya know I've been thinking about "the age of the cars reason" and I would like to throw this out there... the T4 has finally changed after 7+/_ years funny thing is they kept the same price all that time. Somethings up with Losi and this great sedan. I've been happy with mine for the last several years.

This is the best high end touring car you can get for 200 bucks. You wont go wrong with this ride. People who call it old technology have no freaking clue.

Any Sedan you can get for $200 is great for this sport.

Sneaky Losi/Horizon!

Getting everybodys money before it's all spent on the new releases like the TC6 and the T3 2011.

Great job. Never seen so much new posters/new owners on the Type-R thread.

NOW GIVE SOME FREAKIN ATTENTION TO THE CAR....LOSI!

GET IT BACK IN THE SPOTLIGHT!

Sheesh!

How is the car in mod?

Due to my current circumstances I need a car that I can run one weekend, ignore for a couple of months and then pull it out again for a weekend...

I think Lucas Urbain runs what we would call open mod and he's awesome with the car.

Whats great is this car eliminates the problems that plague even todays cars. steering chatter and weight balance. Losi got it right 4-5years ago with this car. Just set this car up for the track and you'll be rewarded. There is no limit on this chassis.

yeah I think your an idiot if you choose to buy another car over this, I mean what other standard car comes with double jointed cvd's(cardans) and a perfectly balanced chassis. Its only cos losi doesnt have a 'team' is why its not selling as well as it could. Put rheinard on losi's payroll, and they can sell this car for as much as other TC's.

Call them if you have not already and tell them so they can fix it. Even the people packing are human some mistakes are made. The problem will be if they don't do right by you now let us know that....

Our LHS has sold 8 of these with not an issue. I would call Horizon, I am sure they will send you the parts like other companies would.

All companies have these issues look at the new Xray 2011 thread, and we all know how their quality is.

**** happens

It appears like everyone is having one or two issues with the parts in the kit. My shock cap wasn't completely milled out.
