I used a old Acoms 2.4ghz to race before i bought my Futaba 3PKS. I was still beating the guys with their Spektrum DX3R, Airtronics M11x, Futaba 4PKS and like.
Won 95% of races entered in my club...

I did it to mine, but decided i wanted to use the steel shaft since carbon is easy to crack. Cut down the orginal one to size and works perfect. So you only need 54158.

I ended up buying the DN-01 Zahhak as it's a watered down TRF201.
All options from TRF201 fits so i can upgrade later if wanted.

Bought Xerun 13.5 turn with 60A Xerun esc....

I replaced pistons due to wear, same with the mounting ears top and bottom.
Shockshaft guide is also something i would check, they go oval over tme.

See if the shocks have sideways movement on...
