It seems like the big T finally will produce a decent 2wd competition buggy.
I have been waiting for this car since the dyna storm.
Looks like they have ignored the midmotor concept. This is a must have for a Tamiya fan like me.

It does look very similar to a B4 (shock towers, link locations) but the front arms seem to have backsweep like a Losi.

It was always going to be similar, the 501 was very similar in many ways to top 4wds of the time, only the TRF 4wd drivetrain made it look more different. Probably be loads of little changes by release, can't wait!! Any other pics??

I wouldnt get excited so quickly, looks like a B4 with a modified shock tower and tamiya shocks on the back..
A lot of the tamiya drivers mix TRF parts on there 2wds..

It is a proto TRF rather than a trf drivers B4
