Mine was back in 1990, the Nichimo Exceed 443 (4wd, 4ws and 3 diffs). While this is not one of the top contenders of the time it was neat and fun to work on.

Me too, another vote for the Tekno SCT 410.3. But I have to admit the the Losi 3.0 is pretty darn close, you really can't go wrong with either of those rigs.

rcp07, to the best of my knowledge most of the good bashers out there are rtr. One thing I would seriously look at is Traxxas, they make some tough bashers that can take a beating.

Most folks have a different approach to changing diff oil. Me personally, I completely take it apart and wipe off any excess oil that I can. And for the rest I will use non-chlorinated brake...
