Going to a higher front diff fluid will decrease low speed steering. Go back to kit 5K.

Try a yellow front spring and white rear spring.

Use 2 linkage collets on the ends of the fuel lid spring, where they sit in the molded slot, this puts more spring tension on the lid, helping it shut tighter.
