The tracks I run on are also small, I run better/more consistent lap times with stock motors cause I suck lol. Plus they get 5 times the entries in stock vs mod.

I had a sensor board in a g3r motor crap out. Acts like the sensor wire is bad. Tried multiple esc’s and sensor wires. Would be fine for a minute or two then act up again. It was the motor itself....

Try a different charger. I would think those packs should be fine at the voltages your getting on the multimeter. You want to store at 7.6 volts for future reference.

Probably took me probably 4 to 5ish hrs to build my b6.2 with electronics spread out over a few days. Not my first build though. I like building kits almost as much as racing.

I agree with Bill. As long as your motor is tight with thread lock and your mesh is set correctly your spur should last a fairly long time. Never a bad idea to have a spare though when at the track.

One advantage is less rotating mass over metal, not as much over aluminum.
