Thumbs up First Run.

My XV-01TC PRO is now rally ready!

I took it out for it's first run today. The track was really tacky. Even had a few puddles on a couple of the corners. I steered clear of those.

I had a ball....

The car is thinner and shorter than the TT01.... So you'll need the shorter shaft and the steering is very different to the TT01... So, I'm sorry to say, you'll need to use the steering rack from the...

Here's my chassis done.

I've just finished the chassis, just the electronics to go... but it's 1am... time for bed now.

I've replaced as many of the plus-screws with hex screws as I could, and I've used the clamp-style...

I started building mine this afternoon, and I must say, I don't think I've used this many screws in a kit for a long time. Admittedly, I've only really used pan cars for the last year of so and this...

I also saw that and went WOW  but then I found the price of the mounts and I went OUCH :weird:

Still, I might just have to order one, just to make sure it's worth it.

Questions?? Question regarding off road running and a spool.

I've just picked up the XV-01TC PRO kit and the extra guards. I'm planning on running it off road.

I noticed that the kit came with a front direct-coupling (spool). Does anyone have any...

Questions?? Is this a common problem?

I think this was about the 5th time I've run my Inferno. I seem to have a problem with the grub screw, that holds the cup behind the front diff, backing out. It happened the first time I ran it, so I...

Hi,

With low traction and slow corners, the FF03 will, more than likely, get hammered out of the turns. The 4WD would be the way to go. (If it were me that is :) )
