and that's the issue you'll run in to with an ESC that is not meant for motors with more than 2 poles. If the ESC has a 60,000 RPM limit with a 2 pole motor it will be half that with a 4 pole.

MMP +3800 on 3s will get you get you 53mph on 4" tires with a 16t pinion.

kv*volts=RPM run that through your gearing and tires and you have a top speed. Doesn't matter how powerful/large the motor is.

Nifty tool for finding out top speed...

That's what comes in the stock RTR SC10, well it uses the reedy 3300. In any case I would not recommend it for a 1/10 4x4.
