I have both a B7D and LD3 (M converted to a Stock Spec) and they are very different animals. The LD3, while not as aggressive as the LD2, still likes to be driven hard and seems to reward you for it....

The high-response springs seem to be well suited for higher grip levels, like sealed clay on up to carpet. I ran them on med grip clay and had to tip toe through corners otherwise I'd push like crazy...

The fan is just servo taped to the chassis, ended up not being enough to keep my motor cool so went with a 1Up fan and shroud with the fan hard wired to the speedo.

I tend to stick with 25-26/76, motor seems to be happy in that range, at least on the tracks I run at. A good motor fan is a must though, preferably hardwired, to help keep temps down.

I've run the LD2 and LD3 on med-high grip clay tracks and they are great, current configuration is basically a LD3 Stock Spec w/LD3D rear hubs, axles and hexes. Get ready for all the steering! lol
