That's a good question. However, they likely are using a typical "thermistor".

Try this link for ideas of what they look like:

If you have a local electronics supply house or maybe even Radio"Shaft", you might be able to find one and test it out for cheap. Then to verify readings, test it in ambient air against a digital thermometer reading of the room temp.

321°c is only 735.8°f... No worries. lol

I hope this helps.

Lol thanks again. I'll visit the electronics shop near me and buy a couple of these thermistors and do some trial and error. From what I can see, looks like it used to be a hotdog shape thermistor and not the round kind.

been looking arround and wondering if the jconcepts 4PK radio case will work for the 4px? doing some adjustments to the foam, does anyone have try it? thanks

jhautz 02-22-2015 08:26 AM

I'm sure it will work fine. I'm using the protek case for the 4pk and the 4px fits great.

Just got my Futaba 4PX today, looks awesome, can't wait to use it!!!! I want to get a few battery packs for it, which ones are the best to use with it? I checked eBay and tried searching the battery model numbers listed in the manual, with no luck.

This works too. Know a few people using these in 4PK and 4PX with no issues.

Battery options should be stickied on the 1st page. Seems the same question gets asked almost every week, LOL.

Yup.....allllmooost every week.

Just checked the first page and I don't see any stickies. I read through the first few pages then skipped around a bit and didn't see anything on batteries. Sorry guys

Stickies or not - the [Search This Thread] button seems to work when used. j/k

It's all good. These type questions only help us remember the responses too.

Yes.

Simply insert the microSD card into as many 4PX TX units you want to perform the update on - no issue.

How much does the angle adapter push the wheel out past what the drop down does?
I have a pelican 1450 case and there is a little extra room. Just not sure how much width the angle adapter adds.

I really like my pelican case compared to the metal cases that are out there. I am sure there is a pelican case that you could make work.
