Has anyone heard when the new software update is coming out that ads the functionality to use the Castle Telemetry S.Bus2 link? The Castle website shows that it will be compatible for the 4PX pending a software update. I am really looking forward to using this link on my 4PX-R wired up to my Momba Monster X! I posted this over in the 4PX-R thread as well but figured I'd ask over hear as there more views on this thread. Thank you

other than chrome case and accessoreis included not sure why we need two threads for these 2 radios running the same software ..

should merge the threads and call it 4PX/4PXR

I agree. With the new update the only difference is mainly cosmetics now.

I have my 4PX for more then a year now and love it....but the part I love the most about this radio is the wheel (FOAM)...it is a very hard solid compound (shore) of foam and I would love to buy another one (with wheel) to replace it on my 3PK which I will have for spare..does anyone know there are any alternative of this or any aftermarket that made the hard foam wheel? I have the Hiro Saiki one and their foam are very soft, so does the stock Futaba 3PK or 4PK one...and believe it or not, 4PX does not sell the wheel/foam as spare...dont' know why.

Jconcept provide foams for Sanwa/Airtronics radios that can also match Futaba radios (not sure for 4PX, it's not clearly described on their website).
This foam is the same used in the Jconcept tires. May be the feeling will be OK for you. You can find them on "the bay" or Jconcept retaillers probably, ref Dirt-tech 3241.
No wheel, only the foam...

My 4PX started acting up this weekend. Before my main. My steering was slow and the throw was about 75%. Quickly checked my settings. But nothing has changed. Ran my main but it was horrible. Couldn't turn. Get home and checked everything. Receiver battery and servo are good. Messed with the steering calibration and it would find neutral fine. But could not calibrate left or right. Tried a different model setting and same thing. Tried rebinding my receivers and still can't calibrate. Any suggestions.

Guess I will try and clean out the steering pots. But don't know how they look and what type of cleaner should I use.

I had a similar problem to yours. The problem I had as I will describe it as it had the jitters at the endpoints of steering travel. This was visible on the display screen also. I went through all the settings and nothing would change the jitters. I then proceeded to take the wheel off the main chassis to clean the pot and it is a sealed potentiometer. Nothing to clean there. I then put it all back together and the jitters have gone away now. I can not explain it, but they do not exist at this time. Could have been a loose connection on the connectors they use or an intermittent connection. If some thing is to change, I'll let you know what I find out. Crossing my fingers that it doesn't show back up.
