This works too. Know a few people using these in 4PK and 4PX with no issues.

Battery options should be stickied on the 1st page. Seems the same question gets asked almost every week, LOL.

Thankyou guys. Worked a treat. Reformatted the card and reloaded it worked str8 away.

Who has the Japan version of the radio and has done the update using the US version update and did it work? I ask bc I am afraid the US update might brick my Japan 4px

Thanks

Previous discussion and reportedly, not an issue.

Anyone having problems with the temperature sensor? I'm using the SBS-01T and the temp telemetry works for a while then shoots up to 300+ deg C. Rebooting the radio or receiver doesn't fix it.

I suspect a loose wire to the sensor. Temp is measured via sensor resistance and if the wire is damaged or there is a weak connection in-between, that could affect the readings/measurements. Try moving the wires/leads around in test and monitoring the 4PX or start the LOGing function and go back and review the data on a PC to see if it moves around on you.

Thanks for the input. I checked the sensor, and found that the resistor broke in half. Any idea what the spec is on the resistor?

That's a good question. However, they likely are using a typical "thermistor".

Try this link for ideas of what they look like:

If you have a local electronics supply house or maybe even Radio"Shaft", you might be able to find one and test it out for cheap. Then to verify readings, test it in ambient air against a digital thermometer reading of the room temp.

321°c is only 735.8°f... No worries. lol

I hope this helps.
