Yes.

I'll give that a try and see what happens.
Thanks.

I'm thinking that I may have some setting wrong but not seeing it. I can still pull out 2000mah on the gfx charger after it is done on the ichager and the battery is warm.

Could be poor connection, try different leads from the charger to the batteries and to the balance board.

Made some changes to the end % from 50% to 10% and it was better and the battery was coming off warm and not bouncing back up to 3.9v but was staying closer to cut off. Will need play around more with this setting.

In the Lipo Charge Setup. Under Charge End Current Set, should I pick "End Current AND Detect Balance" as a general setting? Or... one of the other settings?

It depends on what end current percentage you have, and what balance setting you have as to what it looks for to determine if the battery is done. The terms or and "and" are typical math terms as to which portion should be satisfied.

This weekend I was using my 406 duo and I got zapped multiple times plugging in and unplugging my batteries. I have never had a charger do this so when I got home I checked and the charger is always putting out between 24-25 volts on both channel one & two.

Am I crazy or is this not normal? I have only used this charger for 4 races. I don't make a habit of touching the leads but I have never had a charger do this before.

I just checked my hyperion I've been using for 8 years and while it has a similar constant voltage on the output, you can touch the end of the deans connector and not get electrocuted. The iCharger feels at least as strong as a live 120v wire.

I can barely remember but I believe mine is set to around 12-13 volts which was an increase from factory settings (something to do with the discharge bank volts??) IIRC there was some youtube video or post here that suggests increasing to 12-13v? 24 sounds really high?

I'll be following to relearn.

Hi all,
My 406 duo will no longer charge 2s lipos on either channel. When I connect any 2s lipo it reads "connection error" It will however charge my 2s lipo Rx pack for my nitro buggy, but I use a special charge cord that uses the 4s balancing port. It does charge all other lipos without a problem such as 3s, 4s, etc. I tried a new balance adaptor but had the same result. I also tested my charge leads and they are fine. It seems that the 2s internal balancing circuit is faluty. I got it form Amain 9 months ago and they said to send it in and they will send me out a replacement right away. I did update the firmware to the latest version but that didn't help.

Any ideas before I send it in?

Thanks

Check YouTube. I believe there's a video on it that tells you how to diagnose what's wrong with it. If I have to guess I believe there's internal fuses that are blown that you have to replace. Also do you have another charge cord to try? Maybe your charge cord is bad.
