Can I plug the balance lead into the balance port eliminating the balance board?

you can, yes. Just be sure you have the polarity correct, and make sure you dont plug it into the temp sensor port!

Bought a 406Duo yesterday from my LHS, brand new, in the box, still sealed. Opened it up and it looks like it was drug across a concrete floor. Scratches on the screen and the case itself. Anyone ever seen this from a new ICharger product?

Did you take off the protective film that comes on the screen when new?

That's the the first thing I looked for but I don't believe this ever had one.

Ok, so after a very close inspection, I was able to peel off the very thick, very sticky screen protector. The unit is fine. False alarm.

I have a new 406 and it comes with the presetup different types of charge modes. So once I'm in charge mode and save the changes I made how do I setup up like a 2nd, 3rd or 4th profile say in the Lipo Mode. I want to setup for a few different types of lipos I have.

When you go in to where you picked "edit" for the included profiles there is an "add" option, use it instead of edit to create your own and name them as you wish

You can also use the move function in this same place to arrange them in your preferred order once you have everything set up.

Looking at setting up the unit to discharge through the load bank but when I set it up its pulling the battery down to 3.5V @ 30A Amps but then when its done it goes back up to 3.9V and the battery is not even warm. I'm thinking that I may have some setting wrong but not seeing it. I can still pull out 2000mah on the gfx charger after it is done on the ichager and the battery is warm.

Did you see the pack actually go down to 3.5V while discharging? A 3.9V bounce after makes me think it didn't.

You have to look at the end% I don't have my charger here but if you cut of at say 50% to say 5% also could be with balance detect options you have selected but it most definitely will drain a battery and make it hot if setup correctly did you increase the discharge amps?
