Thanks, I checked youtube. Seems it could be a fuse blown, but apparently the fuses are soldered onto the circuit board. Time to send in for warranty. If it was out of warranty I would do the repair myself.

I agree. If it's in warranty just have them do it but if not it's pretty simple if you watch that video how he get it. All you have to do is just order the right fuses for it.

Anyone know where I can send a 406 duo for out of warranty repair? I purchased from progressive, seems to take months because they send it to hillrc. I've contacted hillrc and it's been a couple of weeks still no response.

Probably because yours was still in warranty. Bought mine last year in march and their policy is to send to hillrc in batches.

I was told up 6 months if I send it to progressive. 2-3 months if I send it to hillrc directly. I'm not asking for free repair so if anyone knows a place please let me know. Charger actually still works just won't do regenerative discharge anymore.

That's the problem with these chargers, only Progressive will repair them if you purchased them directly thru them from all I've heard. Not an easy sale to sell one second hand.

Back to my original question, does anyone know another place that would do the repair?

Again, I purchased from progressive last year and they said it would take 6 months.

6 months, jesus. Depending on the issue. A good eletronics repair shop might be able to fix. A guy in England has been doing some common repairs.

I had a channel 2 failure where it said the battery wasn't connected. Out of warranty so I opened up the case after watching the video on YouTube. Immediately found 2x 470 micro farad caps had burst. The fuses checked out ok so I just replaced the 2 caps with equivalents sourced from the local electronics shop. Charger has been good ever since. Very easy to spot the problem upon opening the charger up.

Nick Adams did a video on YouTube about repairing an iCharger 406 Duo. You may want to watch that to gain some knowledge.

Hmmmmm...Lucky that I have two of them...Or, is it?
