Same here, the ones that come with the battery. The green batteries and white charger, should be about $22 shipped, eBay. I think I paid $8 for a second set of batteries. When I first got them, they showed 7.1 volts after charging, nice, now around 6.9 volts. These batteries make a real difference in transmission power, and the ability not to glitch. This radio should have been designed for 5 batteries to eliminate all the problems with low voltage.

So, how are they working for you? Yeah, that is quite a deal. I have had no issues with mine. Those are a different brand than what I got. The ones I got are $20.48 shipped with white charger and 4 batteries. Ebay has the ones you got for under $20 right now.

They work great, love not having to worry about batteries anymore. with my nimh batteries I always had to charge them the day before going to the track or I would be worrying about them the whole day.

That is the weird thing about these, they keep their charge for a long time. I finish a race night, and still 6.5 volts, nice. Race the next week and finish with 6.3 volts, unreal. That is what I hated about NIMH batteries, once they got near 5 volts, things started happening, and not good either.

just would like confirmation on this ,I haven't had time to check this out at the track yet: EXPO ;Positive on Spekrum slows down the response around neutral and negative speeds it up. thanks . isn't it the opposite on all other radios ?

I ended up using the spring out of an old Futaba I had, much more bulky and will not snap the single looped end off. Still had Horizon Hobby send me a new Spektrum spring, and it is not the same as stock. It is still pretty flimsy, but uses two loops to connect instead of one.
