I have no issue with the ESC temp at all, it barely breaks a sweat (no fan).
Anyone else notice (from a data cleared ESC) that there may be more than one run shown? Just wondering why the ESC decides to initiate another data 'run' when i've just cleared the data and run only once.

If you want to assure that you're getting fresh data be sure to clear the run using the "INC" button method before running the car.
We DO NOT overwrite the old info.

This is what I do. Works like a charm. Any reason why it doesn't work in hotwire? I don't have it in front.of me.right now to look at exactly what it says. But in the data log there is an option to delete the logs or something to that effect...the wording might be slightly different. But it doesn't remove anything. It never has for me. I mean is it actually supposed to work or what's that option actually do/supposed to do?

I would assume so. Anything that's adjustable through hotwire should still be adjustable no matter how it's connected be it through Bluetooth or a wired connection. I would assume anything that's adjustable through the Android app would be adjustable through the iPhone app as well. Now I don't use the 3.0 as I didn't see it as cost affective to upgrade (I don't have room to mount a hotwire on my chassis) and I also don't have an iPhone so I stuck with the 2.0 and Android app. I couldn't imagine them taking away the ability to program those two settings. And it does allow me.to do it with the 2.0 and Android app. I think the apps are pretty much identical as far as what your allowed to do. I think one of the few things you can't do with the app is update the software/firmware. And export data runs. But those have always required a PC connection. I'd wait for randy to verify this but I'm almost positive it would let you. There is videos on YouTube of the 3.0 and iPhone app though. I'd bet checking one of those out would also verify this.

Was via the app. It works properly now though. I switched to a new (used) rsx and it works properly via the app now. Had to have been an issue with my 1st rsx. Which I had several issues with. I'm the one that had been exchanging emails with you about the irratic throttle response...so if it sounds familiar that was me. Thanks for trying to help me out by the way. All is well now with the new rsx.

Ok. Randy is right though. Each time you switch on the power it starts a new run in the data logger. I tend to use the "Inc" button myself. If you hold it down for 3-5 secs it'll start a series of light flashes and a few beeps before it rearms. This is the best way I've found to make sure I always have fresh data. I'll plug my battery in and power on. The just before I start my run while it's still powered on I hold down the Inc button to clear all the data. That gives me fresh data with the only run recorded being the one I'm currently in. Just hold it down till you start hearing the beeps then let go and let it finish. However at the end of your run after you hit the lvc if you try to keep going it will constantly start a new run. It acts like it's being powered on and off.

I had a quick look at the forum and cannot establish an answer, my question is does the built-in BEC for the RSX (or any Tekin current generation ESC) regulates the voltage, i.e. if the BEC is set to 7.4v what happens when the battery voltage drops below 7.4v?
