Some adapters are only power adapters and do not have the data lines. you need an OTG cable.

I have been playing with different configurations, and I have noticed that in Dual Mode the motor feeling is like less powerful. I mean for "equivalent" Timing configurations:
Sensored TP2: 15* Boost
Dual M.: 50% Timing Advance (it should be like 15* Start RPM 5443 End RPM 20016)
The motor has a lot more power in Sensored rather than in Dual M. Also in TP1 (blinky) it is more powerful than in Dual M. with 50% TA.
Any reason behind that?
The motor I am playing with is a LRP X12 7.5T

The Dual mode doesn't utilize any motor can timing so it can't exactly be compared to sensored only mode.
15 timing on Dual mode is 15 exact timing.
15 on sensored only mode would be 15 in the esc, plus can timing.

Not sure if this is taboo to ask, but does anyone have any idea on the pricing range of repairs? I have an RSX that turns on, but gives the Wrong Motor Type error. I'm just trying to get an idea of what the maximum cost would be before I ship it.
Thank you in advance,
Ryan

Ryan max cost would be the non warranty repair cost shown on the service form: www.teamtekin.com/service.html

Thank you! I guess I was getting ahead of myself

I have the rsx esc. Throttle does not work after I went to reset esc to recalibrate my transmitter to it. 1&2 and 6&7 lights flashing on it.
Right before I went to reset the rsx the throttle did work. I also now hear a ticking in the motor. Could the motor now now not be getting along with the esc when before it did. Could it be a short in the esc, if so how do I check for that?

I bought a Tekin rsx gen2 5.5 system to use in an XRay T4 2014 edition. No racing, just looking for general idea on where to start with pinion and spur gear. I bought car used and came set up with 64p gearing. Or would it be better of to switch to 48p gearing.

I know this is not the correct thread because my question is regarding a RS Pro esc, but maybe you could help me.
I have a Tekin RS Pro with a LRP X12 7.5 motor in a B5M. My current esc software versión is v223. I usually run it in Dual Mode as recomended for mod motors.
The issue is that when I set Timing Advance at 0 (0º) and Timing Advance at 100 (30º) both with start rpm at 5443 and end rpm 20016 there is no difference in speed. It seems that it doesn´t affect at all to the motor.
I have tested it in the track but also with no load.
What do you think about the reason?, it is the motor, the esc, maybe this motor is not compatible with Dual Mode.....
Note that in Sensored only mode I can notice a huge difference between TP1-TP2....-TP5.
Thanks!
