15 on sensored only mode would be 15 in the esc, plus can timing.
So can sensored only mode be ran safely on the rsx with mod motors assuming your temps are below 160 on the can and on the esc? Thx!

Yes, its not uncommon especially in 4wd Buggies to run boosted 5.5 to 7.5 turn motors.

Hmmm... I did a search and didn't find what I was looking for, so here goes - sorry if this has been covered before...

I've been racing for a long time, but this RSX is my first 'modern' Tekin...

The hotwire instructions are a bit vague about one thing: ?If I connect the hotwire using the fan/data port on the RSX ESC, is it OK to leave the ESC plugged into the receiver...? (I know that may be a silly question, but I don't want to risk damaging something out of ignorance...)

I really hope this is OK, because I don't like the added wear and tear of having to unplug from the receiver, although that is what I am doing for now as I am used to doing that for the Speed Passion ESC's that I have been using.

PS: I am already totally "sold" on the RSX - I love it....!

Yes, you can leave the receiver wire plugged in while you access the settings thru the fan port. Just be sure to make sure the ESC is not plugged into a battery and turned on while running the program.

hello guys,,,
I just blow up my cap on my rsx,,
I wonder if it will be problem to change to another capasitor with the same specs as the one that comes with the tekin cap??
I have a zip bag with 10x 330uF 16V capasitors,,
would this be a problem with the warranty???

As long as those caps are "low ESR" then you're good. If not I'd suggest sticking to the TT3520 caps.

You saw something on our Facebook feed of the new Spektrum Dx6R radio working with a yet to be disclosed "$%^&*(" module, yes.

Actually the DX6R has a USB out that can be used with the existing Hotwire box. That radio has wifi and bluetooth as well if those interfaces are available in the future.

Got brand new RSX in hands.
Despite setting 'fan: always on' via Hotwire it doesn't spin at all. haven't tried to heat up ESC, but on RX8 that settings brings fan into pure 'always on' mode. Whats wrong with RSX?

I have a gen 2 RS I believe and there's no way to put a fan on it and even using a 7.5t motor my esc is always less than 130*
You can always drill a few holes in the body infront of the esc and motor and that helps a lot
