I have the tekin rs pro, is it worth upgrading to the rsx? I don't think my rs pro is ever going to take a crap.

I no longer own a Windows computer so I have not done the update to get my Hotwire or work withe the ESC.
Please update us if you got it to work and the steps u took. Thanks
There is nothing I can find about updating the Hotwire itself. The updates are just for the hotwire app and pc software. I'm not sure that the firmware in the hotwire hardware can be updated, otherwise there would have been no need for a 2.0 version. The yellow tag in the ESC is to make sure you have your app updated so that it has Vegas 250 in it. This ESC doesn't appear to give you the option to roll back to older firmware although I'm not sure why you would need to.

I have tried reflashing the ESC with Vegas 250 just out of curiosity and nothing changed. I can still program with my laptop which we did yesterday at the track but having the phone app sure is convenient.

Plugging in the ESC to the hotwire turns on the ESC as normal. The phone app sees that it is plugged in but does not recognize the ESC.

This is a Gen 1 hotwire but it has worked with everything else so far and works fine on the PC. Any reason this should not work on the new RSX?
We're expecting a pushed update to be posted via the PlayStore to correct this issue shortly.

Any chance that the flat sensor cable that is showing up in the Gen3 motors is going to be available separate?

BTW- Disappointing that they are not in the Gen3 RSX combos but only in the individual motors.

Must say after using the old system that came with my RTR sc10rs to a tekin RSX with a 10.5t gen 3 motor, its like night and day when it comes to power. The hard part is getting use to all of the power

The new Hotwire Android app version now recognizes my RSX, but I'm also having the same issue where setting it to 2S results in 1S and 6.0v results in 7.4v. Re-flashing the firmware (which also restores defaults) did not solve this issue.

Does anyone know if there's a resolution? For now, I'm going to just use the Windows app, but it's so convenient to use an Android device at the track.

Is there much of a difference in a RS2 and RSX when running 9.5T - 17.5T? I have an RSX that arrived DOA from a seller here. Also, how long does it take to get a replacement for the $123 I believe and is it worth it? thx all in advance

I've run both RSX and RS Gen2 with 13.5 and 8.5 motors.

Performance wise, I noticed no difference. However, ESC temperature was something to keep an eye on when pushing the 13.5 motor with lots of timing to keep up with the mod guys or running the 8.5...especially is the summer time when the ambient air temp is already 90-100 degrees. With the RSX, I basically never worry about heat in the ESC.

For me it's the RSX...

Not at that level. The RSX however will run cooler due to it having a CNC Billet housing.

What is the current software version for the RSX? I cant seem to find the reverse delay adjustment that was just released. I have version 250 on both of my Tekins (RS Gen2 SPEC and RSX)

Thanks

Having some problems getting my rsx to be recognized by my phone. I have a galaxy s6 with android 5.1.1
Yes it's been updated via PC. I ordered a generic USB adapter do I need the device specific OTG cable?
