I am glad i did not buy this radio i recently bought the FlySky i-10 and up to now it has been great, it binds to all the older receivers with no trouble, when i sent a email to them asking where i could buy a extra battery and receiver they sent me one of each.

Hey guys, just been reading through this thread and have send Jerry an email, but my current version of the it4 is 1.01-CN and the 1.02 updater doesn't seem to work on this radio. Is the radio supposed to show up in the program before you can hit update? It's showing up in windows 7 x64 under Devices and Printers as 'FS-iT4-CN firmware update'

Any help much appreciated!!

New radio

I have an older FS it4 radio that you have to rebind each each time when changing models. Emailed Flysky and got the chip and the software but never tried to replace the chip because I was afraid of messing up the board. I wanted to be able to switch between models so last week I ordered another from hobbypartz and tried it between models and it works perfect! The new one has a version of 3-2013 where the old one was 1-2013.

Can anyone provide some real feedback on the latency (delay) of this radio. I have read 5ms but that sounds unrealistic since the fastest radios from the big name brands are not that fast. At this point, I would settle for someone who has used one back to back with a FASST radio or similar.

What run time to expect per charge?

Hello christian977, all,

I follow the procedure from file "FS-IT4 updating instruction.doc" from Flysky.

When I try to update my computer can`t see my FS-iT4.
But when I open the control panel to see joystick function the FS-iT4 work fine.
I can use its as joystick.

I have tested 4 firmwares to update my FS-iT4 from :

- Absima v1.0.0.0 device not detected
- Carson v1.0.1.0 device not detected
- FlySky v1.0.1.0 and v1.0.2.0 device not detected
- Modelcraft v1.0.0.0 device detected.

I have updated my FS-iT4 with Modelcraft but this is an old firmware version "1.01-DE2 18-05-2013"

I'm in contact with an employee from FlySky since the 22 October 2014 without progress.
The last answer was on 25 October 2014 "Maybe it is the problem of hardware."
I think that the problem is software.

Does somebody could help me, please ?
Any ideas, please ?

Regards,
Renaud

steering end points

When setting steering end points I have no problem with the left turn EP but I can't get the radio to select the right turn EP. What am I doing wrong?

Did you try turning the steering wheel to the right to get it to select right?

mackelby 11-11-2014 08:02 PM

yes i did

I was told not to buy this transmitter. Why won't i listen??? Can't select right turn end point and can't get an answer from Jerry. I am sure he is very busy seeing as how these tx's leave something to be desired. I am wanting to use this TX for the first time along with the first time for my new b5m, first car in 22 years. It looked cool and was 100 cheaper than what i was looking at. apparently there is a reason its 100 cheaper than other comparable models. I see some flash and i am all over it.

Is Jerry ever on this site?

MikeGozz 11-12-2014 01:15 PM

When you are in the end point selections you actually have to turn the wheel to the right to select the right end point and to the left to select the left.

It took me some time to figure out out too...

Jerry? On here... maybe once. If you look back a few pages I think his username if Jerry_flysky or something to that effect.
