FlySky FS iT4 Transmitter Thread
http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/...s1c80dce1.jpeghttp://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/...sda7e80a5.jpeg The FS-iT4 is Fly Sky's newest 2.4ghz radio system. This Fly Sky radio is loaded with tons of features that allow the user to easily configure their radio control model. The iT4 is capable of storing 20 models in its internal memory and has the ability to graphically represent all trim, exponential, and dual rate adjustments. The graphical representations are extremely useful in depicting how the car will react to the parameter changes. The switch and trimm buttons surrounding the steering wheel are fully programmable allowing the user to program each specific button to do a specific task manually assigned. The steering wheel housing pivots allowing the driver to configure the steering wheel angle for the ultimate comfort. Comfort can be further enhanced by the removable rubber back strap on the pistol grip. Two sizes of small and large are included in the radio package. The iT4 features a second-generation automatic frequency hopping digital system transmitter (AFHDS 2) capable of receiving transmission parameter information, such as voltage, temperature, and speed from the receiver. In other words, this radio features full telemetry function with the ability to piggy back multiple sensors. The FS-iT4's large screen display features touch screen technology allowing greater convenience in parameter settings. A stylus is also included to protect the screen from scratches especially when your fingers are caked in grease, grim, and dirt from working on the vehicle. The FS-iT4 is powered by a single 3.7v 1200mah Lithium Polymer Battery and is charged via a micro USB port on the transmitter. The radio can be had in two flavors; chrome black and orange crush. Yea its nor on their website yet id like to know how much and extra recivers are gonna be..does look interesting.Their saying its using a different frequency than the old models .Wonder fast it is and if this make a decent race transmitter.

Shows up $155 at WowRcModel. Looks like a really, really nice radio.
Recievers showing $21 on eBay, Tx for ~$168 from China also on eBay. Tempting. I love the hell out of my GT3B. |
I read somewhere that it will get down 5.5ms. Cant remember where it was.. Think it was in the comments of a youtube video.
|
thing looks sweet! Wish more people would take FlySky more serious.
|
same here
Yea most racers laugh at flysky setups.Im a racer and a basher.I refuse to spend 300+ on a transmitter.with kinda money i can get new buggy kit or sct kit.Im not sponsored my wallet sponsors me.I use traxxas tqi for racing and flysky for bash now.But with the arrival of this new flysky i might retire the tqi.Be nice to only need one transmitter.Ill bet guys at my track wont laugh at this one.And it comes with a lipo!

I find myself in need for another gt3-b. Have too many cars that I might need to loan out to my son or someone. I already have 2 TQI's for a stampede 4x4 and a B4.1 buggy. I am hoping the new FS iT4 comes down a bit in price. I'd use that for the occasional racing and mostly practice I run now.

This price of the radio is inexpensive when you see what kind of options it has. Receivers are inexpensive as well. $330 gets you a nice radio system + 10 more receivers. I really don't need telemetry, but its nice I can use it if needed. Ive been needing to upgrade to a new radio anyway, this may be the time to do it.

I might pick one up if hobbypartz lowers their price. You can pick one up with all the telemetry modules for under $120 here http://www.myrcmart.com/flysky-it4-2...er-p-5852.html
hobbypartz isn't including all the modules |
Man, I wish I'd seen myrcmart before I ordered mine on ebay. Oh well.
I'm a racer that has used a GT3B and I never noticed the sluggish feeling that ever one talks about. So I'm hoping the iT4 will be even better. When I saw this system, I knew it was time to retire my beloved JR R-1. It's still a great radio, especially with the Flysky module, but the iT4 has features I really like. Guess we'll see in a couple of weeks. And I looked at hobbypartz too. I just looked and they've lowered the price from $199 down to $149 since yesterday. :flaming:That ticks me off. But one thing I did notice about their package is that the sensors are not included. The sensors are something I want to play around with just for kicks. They do sell the receivers for $11.95 though. :D |

Cant wait for some hands on reviews. Im looking to replace my heavy m11 and crappy spektrum!! one question for flysky users, Are you guys needing "Glitch busters" for savox servos in 2wd electric like spektrum has too??
|
On my FS-GT3B, I run Savox servos in all my cars and have never needed capacitors to stabilize anything. See my Sig to see what ESC's I'm running.
|
Anybody buy one?
