Yes, both the Nitro and Electric Telemetry systems work with the DX3.

Yeah I know. The motor is causing the glitch. It's a dead giveaway that the glitching starts as soon as you start the motor.

Yesterday I saw my friend's mtx4 kill itself to the wall because of spektrum glitches. Front arms gone.

My friend quit using spektrum too and he is back using the original M11 receiver after his mtx3 tasting wall + fences + 1/10 off road track + car park in one hit I guest he was the farthest glitch everyone ever saw.

I guess the spektrum unit are sucks after 1 year ownership.

I've not had any such problems with my spektrum receivers (2 nitro, 2 electric).

Only time shes "glitched" was when RX battery pack had a cracked solder joint, can't expect it to work with no power .

turns out thats exactly what it was. fortunately, when it happened, it wasnt a complete runaway, and the marshall grabbed it and killed it

I have early stuff I've been using since new with no problems...electric, nitro...MT's and 1/8 scale buggies, you name it. Never had a problem here.

Have you ever had the firmware updated on your receivers? Trust me, it makes a difference. I've run Spektrum modules and receivers in 11 different cars and trucks without one glitch.

Check out www.SpektrumRC.com for the full details. You will need to send your equipment in for the updates. Here's some info for you off the site:

does/will the new high speed version for futaba HRS have all the features of the pro?
like the ones mentioned below:
"To handle the rigors of competitive racing, we’ve treated your Pro Series receiver with a virtually clear conformal coating called ReliaKote.™ It’s an exclusive Spektrum plus that ensures reliable performance no matter how much dirt , gunk and motor spray works its way into your Pro Series receiver’s case.

Besides its other advances, the Pro Series system features an advanced, more rugged, premium-quality oscillator that not only shrugs off shock loads, but actually increases range via its RF link-boosting, ultra-precise frequency accuracy."

thank you

Ok, just got the answers for you on the HRS vs Pro Series.

The HRS system does not have ReliaKote™ conformal coating on it. It does however have the improved oscillator, much like the Pro Series equipment. One other difference is that the HRS Spektrum receiver is not compatible with the Telemetry system. Remember that a radio operating in HRS mode has almost 1/2 the total latency (radio and DSM module/receiver) of one of the original Spektrum systems when you figure in the inherent latency designed into the radio. Hope that helps

Hopefully someone can shed some light on the problem I had today. Ive been using the Spektrum system in my 3PK for about 6 months now mainly inside racing dirt oval with no problems. I got my first nitro vehicle this week (Monster GT) adn installed the system in the truck. I was beaking in the motor today adn the system kept shutting down, and i would have to turn off the truck and turn it back on again for it to work. I am running a 5 cell IB1200 receiver pack. I took the Spektrum out and rna it with a FM module and receiver and it worked fine. Anyone know what my problem may be?
